Michalis Hatzigiannis
Michalis Hatzigiannis was born in Nicosia, although his family comes from Keryneia. He is a graduate of the Cyprus Music Academy (Royal College of London) with a degree in piano, guitar and music theory. He has become one of the most successful singers in Greek music, He has released many platinum records. In April 2006 Michalis Joined George Dalaras On his 1st North American Tour. Playing in cities such as New York, Toronto, Chicago and more. His Latest CD titled "LIVE" went double platinum.

Fahir Atakoglou
Fahir Atakoglu's original music for the Istanbul Ballet's East Side Story, Agir Roman, will be at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. A West Side Story-like tale of love, crime and compassion set in Istanbul, this dance-theatre piece receives its first American staging with 39 members of the original cast joined by L.A. talent.

George Dalaras

Christos Hatzis
May 28 - June 11 2007. Christos Hatzis will be the composer-in-residence with the Scotia Festival of Music in Halifax, Nova Scotia. There will be a number of his chamber and orchestral works presented at the festival including Tongue Of a newly created percussion concerto for percussionists Evelyn Glennie and Beverley Johnston, a joint commission by the Scotia Festival of Music and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Two separate premieres of Tongues of Fire will take place: one featuring Beverley Johnston as soloist at the Scotia Festival of Music with the Festival Orchestra (conductor TBA), and one featuring Evelyn Glennie as soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Bramwell Tovey in Vancouver sometime during the 2007-08 season.
